Breakfast, Yummy and good for you. Oatmeal with Banana

I believe when  I am not eating as healthy as I should I take food for granted. Never in my life has oatmeal ever tasted so good. Just as my son Kaplin says Eat to live, not live to eat.

1 Cup of gluten free oatmeal with a banana No need to add sugar the banana is the perfect sweetness. And of course this is when I start drinking water. I need 8 water bottles daily.

Week 2 For Quickstart Program ( remember this particular plan only needs to be used for 3 weeks) no longer its for rapid weight loss

Breakfast
1 Cup of oatmeal (we use gluten free)
1 orange or banana

Morning snack
Apple

Lunch
4 oz of chicken breast or 4 oz of fish
1/2 cup of steamed tomato and 1 cup of summer squash

2 cups of raw celery
1 Tablespoon of all natural peanut butter

Dinner
 4 oz of fish only
1 cup of asparagus
1 cup of steamed tomato
3 cups of salad

Drinking water is very important!! We drink 8 daily and Patience drinks 3

Just My Thoughts

Last night while watching T.V. a advertisement comes on about Cola. And how Mom's can make effortless meals. I'm all for cooking simple. But you can still have healthy and be simple. Cookpots make many meals.
On the advertisement a family was sitting at the table eating pizza and drinking soda.:(
All I could think was they are eating unhealthy chemicals.

I do not claim to know everything about food but I'm glad we are growing as a family to be more healthy.

I'm starting the quick plan from Dr. Gogila Today For myself

This plan is only to be used for three weeks. If you follow the plan for three weeks and drink all the water required you lose 22 pounds. Dr. Gogila gave us our own personal plan But I will be going by the book. This shouldn't be used for children. They need a variety. Yes it is eating the same thing everyday for a week but I am willing to commit to this to lose that much. This plan can be found in his book called Turn up the Heat

Drink 8 water bottles daily

Breakfast
1 cup or oatmeal
1 orange or banana

Snack
1 Apple

Lunch
1/2cup of brown rice
4 oz of fish or chicken
2 cups of steamed spinach

Snack
Orange

Dinner
4 oz of fish only
1 cup of zucchini, 1 cup of asparagus, 1 cup of salad

Snack
Mixed berries

This is week one I will post the plan for next week ...I cannot wait to lose 20 pounds. Dr. Gogila has never failed us.

Cinderella's Shoe...

OK here's the deal, I would love to lose weight before our trip to Disney World this Spring. I thought about about starting a new blog but I have put so many recipes on this one to help children with Insulin problems- I'm just going to keep this one.

I want to be able to take photo's of myself and feel good about posting.- So I will add the count down on this blog. We walk daily- but I truly need to put more effort in myself.- Like additional work out time for me. I have three months to work really hard.

As for Patience she is doing well, we keep the same meal plan for her- She continues to look taller and stay healthy. She was Little Red Ridding Hood for Halloween. It made me feel so good when the clerk asked if maybe I was getting a size to BIG for her. ( kids clothing not Ladies anymore)

Sweet Potatoe Soup

I have really had some health problems lately. So I decided to go on a only fruit and veggie fast for 10 days. Trying to lose weight and help my immune system.

I designed my own soup to drink when I'm feeling weak or need something filling.

I baked 3 sweet potatoes in the oven. Then pureed it in the food processor and added about 3/4 can of cream of coconut. Heated on stove and diced in some bell peppers.
Added Little salt, pepper, onion powder. This is so creamy and filling. I can already feel my immune system improving.

Some people add broth but this was savory and not sweet!!! Very much like butternut squash.
